Check is growing constantly. City by city. Country by country. An ambitious growth path in Europe lies ahead. Check is therefore looking for a Growth Marketer to reinforce the Growth Team in validating and scaling growth tactics along the funnel.

In a nutshell.

You are responsible for maintaining the growth experimentation velocity of Check. You make sure we keep gathering new ideas, run experiments and determine next steps. You are driven by data but don't shy away from ambitious experiments that might move the needle. You are an experienced growth marketer or growth hacker who is familiar with growth frameworks such as the AAARRR funnel and prioritisation mechanisms.

The role.

You'll join the three-person Growth team and will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, testing them and scaling when successful. You'll work closely together with the Product Growth Manager and the user-driven Growth Manager, as well as other teams like Product and Operations. Working together is important for both performance and morale, so let us introduce you to the growth team first!

Like the rest of us, you are comfortable with running your own shop. Your shop will entail proactively maintaining our growth experimentation velocity. We invite you to challenge our existing frameworks, processes and growth strategy. You bring both methodological knowledge and practical knowledge, and have a T-Shaped skillset with deeper experience in at least one area of growth. Think about marketing automation, predictive analytics, UX design or app analytics.

In a weekly cadence, you'll be on the lookout for opportunities of growth. You will analyse performance of different mechanisms that are already in place by comparing the data over time and through benchmarking. In addition, you explore new areas of growth, both by assessing the obvious channels and by thinking out-of-the-box. Following a solid prioritisation process, you identify and select the most promising tactics and validate your assumptions. Dependent on the results, you either scale, re-iterate or eliminate the idea, while properly documenting your findings.

Next to your day-to-day activities, you will formulate- and execute the overarching growth strategy of Check together with the rest of the Growth team. You participate in the weekly Growth meeting to discuss results and important topics. You attend the off-site Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) together with the rest of the Check team to brainstorm about the future of the company, and of course, to enjoy the ride.

Your profile.

  • 3-5 year relevant work experience in tech, mobility, e-commerce, or similar

  • Experience with growth marketing/growth hacking frameworks

  • Makes data-driven decisions, knows how to analyse and interpret data, experience with data visualisation tools (Google Analytics, Tableau)

  • Preferably has experience with one or more of the following disciplines:

  • App analytics and attribution

  • Marketing automation

  • AI, ML & predictive marketing analytics

  • Customer journey design (UX/UI)

  • Search Engine Marketing

  • MVP design.

About Check.

Check is a fast-growing shared mobility platform, providing the easiest way around town. We believe urban mobility can be more efficient and we want everyone in every city to be able to reach their destination within 15 minutes. We do this by introducing new and smart forms of mobility. Our shared e-mopeds are available in cities throughout The Netherlands and Germany.

A year and a half ago we launched our first 160 e-mopeds in Rotterdam and within 6 months we 10x-ed that, opening in Amsterdam, The Hague and Breda. Not long thereafter we turned profitable as a company at group level and became an international company by opening our first German city: Düsseldorf. And we’re just getting started.
