Damage & Fraud Expert
Take ownership of the incidents behind the ride and help us build the smartest damage and fraud operation in shared mobility.
In a nutshell.
As our Damage & Fraud Expert, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of vehicle damage cases and insurance claims. You will work closely with our Operations, Support and Finance team, as well as external insurers, repair partners and legal stakeholders, to ensure incidents are handled efficiently, fairly and cost-effectively.
You're reporting into the Damage & Fraud Manager. You will play a key role in reducing claim costs, improving recovery rates and building scalable processes.
The role.
Own every complete damage and insurance claim from incident reporting to resolution.
Assess and investigate vehicle damage cases, determining liability and recovery opportunities.
Manage communication with insurers, brokers, legal partners and third parties.
Monitor and optimize claim recovery rates and claim handling costs.
Analyze incident trends and identify opportunities to reduce damages and operational risk.
Develop and improve policies, procedures and reporting related to damage and insurance management.
Support Operations and Support teams with complex damage cases and customer disputes.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with insurance requirements.
Build dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into claim performance and risk exposure.
Act as the internal subject matter expert on insurance, liability and claims management.
Requirements.
You have 0-3 years of experience in insurance, claims handling, damage assessment, fleet management or a related field.
You have a very keen eye for detail while being on top of the game with managing stakeholders.
You enjoy improving processes and using data to identify opportunities.
You communicate clearly and confidently, both in Dutch and English.
Experience in mobility, automotive, logistics or fleet operations is a strong plus.
